Our family business was founded on the belief that quality and service can be provided at a fair price. In the mid-80’s Mike Harvey and his wife Lita saw first hand the damaging properties of the sun. Shading their porch with an awning opened the door to the awning business of today. Shade products have come a long way since that time. We have stayed focused on the needs and demands of today’s market. Our time has been spent finding the best products for our customers at a fair price.

 
As the years have gone by, we have seen the needs of some of our customers change. Having done various types of remodeling, we have joined the NAIPC (National Aging In Place Council) to fully understand and meet the needs of our customers who want to stay in their homes and lead an independent life as much as possible. With modifications to the home, our customers have been able to live the life they have been accustomed to in the comfort of their own home. To further our education and training, Mike became CAPS certified (Certified Aging in Place Specialist).

Through the years, we have learned to listen to our customers and learn what their needs are and then provide them with the products that suit them best.

HISTORY

MLH CO was started in the mid-1980's by Mike and Lita Harvey. In 2005, their son Michael joined the company to learn the  ins and outs of the business. Our customers have learned that they are always dealing with some one that cares about the quality of work being done and the fact that they can call one of the owners of the company at any time. Quality and service has always been the motto in our daily operation. As The population ages, we have seen the need of our customers change.
